Please note that TrayText has been superseded by the
more powerful KeyText - but if you feel TrayText may meet your needs, then you are welcome to try it out! Also available in self-extracting form; file is bigger, but it includes setup and
uninstall routines.

Full Program Description: Left-click the TrayText icon in the tray, and a menu will appear showing the text items you
have stored. Click the item you want and it will be "typed" in for you
in the application you are using - during which the TrayText icon in
the tray will look like this:
A keyboard shortcut is available so that you can set up a combination of keys (eg Ctrl-Alt-T) which, when pressed, will bring up the left- click menu. Then type the number associated with the item you want and the text is inserted. Your hands have never left the keyboard! TrayText also has a useful spike feature for collecting text from different documents or applications ready to insert in another document or application.
TrayText is shareware - "try before you buy". It costs USD 15 (or GBP 10) to register, but you may use it free for a 28-day evaluation period. |
